Who we really are.

about us

FUTUREPERFECT LAB DESIGNS PLAYFUL AND IMAGINATIVE DIGITAL PROJECTS EXCLUSIVELY FOR NONPROFITS AND FOR MASS APPEAL.

We know how challenging it is for non-profits – with little time, money and resources – to be seen and heard by the masses. That’s why futurePerfect lab creates bold campaigns for non-profits to propel their issues and their brands into the mainstream.

We’re playful, participatory, evocative, bold, experimental, forward thinking, and if you haven’t noticed—we think robots are very cool.

This team, led by Heidi Boisvert, Founder, will work day and night – really, robots thrive without sleep, so we can too! – to elevate (enter your social justice issue here) and the (enter your nonprofit’s name here) brand. We form strong partnerships with nonprofits, develop solid media campaigns and tailor social media and marketing strategies to fit the specific and unique needs of your nonprofit.

We make issues playful, provocative, and popular

come play with us. we do good, better.

Branding & Marketing

We make sure you look good. We design the right look and feel to communicate your message and your brand.

Messaging

We’re writers not fighters. We craft the right language to most effectively communicate your campaign and reach mainstream audiences.

Research & Development

We hang out with the popular kids. We conduct an audit of the latest digital and pop culture trends to ensure your campaign is ahead of the curve.

Innovative Project Creation

Enough said.

Public Relations & Distribution

We make sure there’s plenty of people at the party. We work with you to put your project out into the world and ensure the masses will come.

Outcome & Measurement

We add a secret ingredient. We integrate special tools into your project that track how everything’s going, and to see how much your audiences are learning and how their behaviors are changing.

Our works.

What we've done so far

WE WANT TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE…

It sounds simple, but we are creative technologists who have a dream of making social issues as relevant and as moving as a Hollywood blockbuster. We believe it’s possible to use all the pop culture tools at our disposal to tell stories and create experiences that delight, provoke and inspire. And we hope our innovative co-design approach, along with your passion, will move people to think and act in new ways.

Our research.

THINK-DO TANK

Our non-profit think-do-tank serves as both a sandbox for experimentation and a feedback mechanism to increase the impact of our creative services. PURPOSE: 1) scientifically examine neurobiological impact, and use this knowledge to create more effective multi-media engagement campaigns, 2) rapid prototype and develop abstract-able emerging, open source tools & platforms easily repurposed by other non-profits, and 3) catalyze temporary, interdisciplinary incubators to query & solve 21st century problems using pop culture and emerging technology.

Our team.

ANTI-DISCIPLINARITY DEFINES US.

We maintain low overhead relative to the industry competition by establishing “virtual project pods;” we hire project specific independent contractors with specialized skills sets, and a project manager to oversee the flow of communications and deliverables. These independent consultants work out of their own office spaces, utilizing their own equipment, and we communicate and collaborate via open source technology.

WHO WE ARE

We’re digitalists, gadgetists, social mediaists, trendists, researchists, and robotists who use all that “isting” to create change in a massive way.

WHAT WE DO

We use play, wonder, surprise, and imagination to design playful and provocative interactive tools to propel your social justice issues and your brand into the mainstream.

HOW WE DO IT

With a power supply and a smile. When we’re feeling really crafty – which is everyday by the way – we use the above method that our robots are gleefully acting out.
